Ramblings By Rhianna

I am hoping the you tube video embeds correctly.

In the fours hour period after I had my niece take these picutures, I already made changes. I’ll do an update when the second room is done. The window are getting wood shutters tomorrow. And I found a great male female statue for the love and marriage area. Don’t blink, cause it’s always changing.

The up side is that I came up with an idea for another book. It was such a great idea, that my niece was writing down the idea while I was driving. I love that when it happens.

This weekend is for the movies again. I’m planning to see Hell Boy II.  I know the Dark Night, but I want to laugh, so I chose the fun one.

As for the Novella, I’m on a exciting part and I’m having a good time writing. It’s trying hard to be a novel, but i’m fighting it down. :)

  1. What a great idea with the video! You have some lovely pieces in your home… and I love the colours and placements that you’ve made. Your niece is a beautiful young woman… 15 or thereabouts? And is she the directorial genius of your video?
What a great age… definitely becoming more their own person and growing more into their lives.
I’ve never done any feng shui ~ so much of everything with kids and babysitting… but that’s probably more excuse than valid arguement.
Someday I’d love to do something like that… maybe when all the kids are out of the house and on their own. I’d really, really like to have a library for all my books and shelves for other collectibles. LOL (My poor dh is not a collector.)

And I do love to hear that your novella is taking shape: are you sure that you have to beat it down from a novel? I know… I’m just being greedy.

Hope that your week continues successfully with story ideas and writing… I can’t get over how much work it all is ~ and you have your *real* job as well… Two thumbs up for you!

  2. Ooooh, very nice! I totally love your fame area. The other areas are very well done as well. You have very aesthetic taste. And your niece is so lovely. She made a beautiful video as well.

  3. For some reason the comment thing stuck on me and I couldn’t write more. I was also going to say, very nice music. Perfect background for your video. There is something in your room that we have to talk about though. :)

  4. Hey Leah and Kathy,

I made the video, she took the pictures, it was a co-production. My neice is a sweetie. We saw Hell Boy today and I loved it. I know, I know, we should have seen Batman, but I wanted a lighter mood.

As for the music, it speaks to me whenever I hear it and it makes me smile. It from the Nodding Hillibillies, which is actually one of those super bands back in the early nineties. I think George Harrison was one of the members.

I was hoping Leah would let me know if there was anything that was potential bad karma for me. I’m sure there is, because I’m not rich and famous yet.*grinning*

Let me know in private if it’s something totally embarrasing on my part. I have a tendency to do that. I did want you to see that I am making progress with it though. It’s already creating a new energy for me. I’m feeling more like things are moving along and not as static as it has felt for a while.

Am writing, so I’m going to go back to it for now.

  5. I made the video,

See, now that totally impresses me! I thought your niece did it as you always go on about your niece doing your tech stuff.

I don’t see anything wrong or embarrassing at all. It’s all very well and beautifully done. I’ll be curious though if things slowly start to change for you.

    we should have seen Batman,

Sometimes it’s good to go against the grain and be different— than the whole of the United States apparently. LOL

I’m with Kathy… why not a novel? But then it would take longer for us to get it I guess. There’s always a catch.

  6. I am going to keep this at a novella length. It’s an introduction to the mythology.

  7. It’s an introduction to the mythology.

Oh lovely…. When can we expect it? I’m rather curious and very impatient… but for another Rhianna Samuels story, I’ll wait.
Keep on writing ~ I really don’t want to disturb you!

  8. I love that you are impatient for a new book. It’s great to think I can have the affect on readers. So cool…

I don’t know when of even if my editor will like it, until it’s done. I am going a fast as I can with my life as busy as it has been. It’s getting there though.

  12. LOL… Oh, I remember you mentioning once that your niece liked using the word “meh“… is this the same one?

    Comment by KathyK — July 24, 2008 @ 2:49 am

  13. Yes, this is the neice. It’s funny that she sat in the opposite chair the whole time I put this together. When I was done, I asked her to watch it several times. It is amusing to me that she just noticed she was in it. I suspect next time I ask her to check my slide show out, she will. Mauaaaaw! *cackle of laughter*
